With Susan Nash’s master class in Antwerp the official program of the EAPT just started. And in what way !
If you would have been there, you would definitely agree with some remarks of our Dutch, French, Belgian, English participants: “pure klasse”, “excéllent”, “learned again a lot”, “when will there be a follow up?”, ….
What Contextual Coaching is making so interesting, is the focus on strenghts. When you are coaching people on their self awareness of their strenghts, it makes the process much more effective and efficient. One of the participants shared the most beautiful story on this. Thanks !
Oh yes, there will be a follow up ! And if you couldn’t make it last week, there is a chance to follow webinars to catch up with the program. At the end of the year we will try to have a train the trainer program. Keep track on this post !
On 10 March in Copenhagen and 25 March in Antwerp Susan Nash will be our first guest speaker in the program of events that the EAPT is offering.
Topic of these days will be: Contextual Coaching
The underlying premise of Contextual Coaching is that individuals require different support depending on their performance level in the specific task or context in which they are working. By adjusting the goals and approach of the coaching conversation, the individual will be more rapidly and effectively be able to develop new skills, capitalize on existing strengths and raise their overall performance.
Contextual Coaching is a coaching methodology with integrates a performance development model for developing strengths and learning new skills, with different styles of coaching conversation (based on the Linda Berens Interaction Styles Model which integrates with MBTI®).
Members of local associations or EAPT members pay 500 €, the others 600 €
Registration 10 March
Registration 25 March
Oh oh oh ! Technical lessons learned in this session, but apart from this I guess our visitors had a good idea on the “launch” of our network. If not, just tell me !
For those who suffered from technical issues or who were not able to attend, you can find the presentation here. And after some ideas of Clare, will make another one with audio too !
In case your keyboard would miss some characters, just copy the entry code here: jz*J6^g

Oh yes, it’s a fact ! All European Type Practioners are united now in the European Association for Psychological Type.
On Thursday 27 January the EAPT will be “shown” in our virtual baby shower. More details and invitations are on their way !
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue….
This new association feels a bit like a marriage. A marriage of Jungian Type instruments, European Type practioners and knowledge.
We have already the old and the new, still waiting for the borrowed and the blue. Suggestions?
The instruments the EAPT is supporting are all based on Jungs type theory. His personality type refers to the psychological classification of different types of individuals.
Jung noticed that everybody has certain preferences of behaving like one is right or left-handed. Preferences are not competencies or skills, just prefered ways of functioning. Everybody is born with such preferences. Preferences are quite dominant, although these need to be developed !
Apart from all this, Jung also considered the process of individuation necessary for a person to become whole. This is a psychological process of integrating the conscious with the unconscious while still maintaining conscious autonomy.
In all -well researched- type instruments this notion of preference is key, as well as development and individuation. Discover the instruments….
The first steps are taken ! On 28 August we put our signature under the founding act of the EAPT. Preparation starts now to make sure we can go live in January. Exciting !
