Mission Statement
EAPT is a European network organization of professionals who are using Jungian Type Instruments to help develop individuals, teams and organizations.
Vision
It is our vision that through networking, sharing and training of expertise members of the EAPT will get the opportunity to deepen their own understanding of type. This knowledge is in the benefit of all people and organizations involved and will create better understanding in the diversity of people.
The EAPT stands for an ethical and responsible use of typology and encourages all its members to demonstrate this attitude.
Objective
The aim of the association is to offer a European Platform for Psychological Type.
To do this, the EAPT will organize:
- Master classes with type experts
- Network events
- Qualification program
- Biannual European Type Conference
- 4 newsletters/year
- Monthly updates
- Updates on the website regarding all “type” activities in Europe
- ….
Members of the local type associations will be automatically member of the EAPT. In countries where there is no local association (yet) type professionals can become member of the EAPT directly.
This means that all our members are users of high quality and well researched instruments, based on Jung’s type theory:
- CCTI
- Golden
- Insights Discovery
- JTI
- Majors
- MBTI
- MTR-i
- TDI
- TMS
- ….
The EAPT encourages the forming of interest groups where members from different local associations can meet to develop their field of interest. The EAPT offers the platform for research that would be conducted in this matter. This means that the EAPT is supporting it by sending invitations for attending the research to its members. As well as setting up a separate research page on its website. The research itself with the statistical analysis, related costs and outcome are not under the EAPT’s responsibility.
For the upcoming four years, Lieve Vermeulen of the Type Association Benelux is president of the EAPT.
